The use of energy conservation techniques in the activities of daily living among the elderly people of Barangay San Antonio Binan Laguna was determined using questionnaire. The questionnaire dealt with how frequent the participants organize, do proper body mechanics and use assistive device to conserve their energy while engaged in their occupational performance. Results show that participants gained knowledge on how to use energy conservation techniques in the activities of daily living after attending the seminar. Recommendations are provided to increase awareness of using energy conservation techniques among elderly people in other barangays.
